Postnatal Support

The weeks following birth are often some of the most transformative and demanding of parenthood. While much of the focus naturally turns to the baby, my postnatal support is designed to help mothers (and families!) transition into their new life feeling nourished, supported and well cared for.

My work combines evidence-based practice with traditional postpartum wisdom, including training in massage, nutrition and Ayurvedic postpartum care. With a focus on recovery, nourishment, nervous system support and practical help, I create the conditions that allow parents to rest, recover and enjoy this important time.

Every family is different, so support is tailored to your individual needs and may include:

Nourishment & Recovery

Practical Household Support

  • Light household tasks such as laundry, tidying and meal preparation.

  • Caring for your baby while you rest, shower, sleep or simply take some time for yourself.

  • Support with older siblings to help the whole family adjust.

The question I’m asked a lot…What do most people book?

Many cultures wisely focus on a full month of care for the mother postpartum, allowing her to slowly regain her strength after such an intense and transformative event.

My most common package includes two or three 3-hour sessions per week for the first four to six weeks after birth.

Within this month I’ll support you from those precious early days, regaining strength both physically and emotionally over the new few weeks, until you’re feeling confident and well-adjusted to your magical new role as a mother.

Overnight Support

Keeping the continuity of care going, rather than hiring a separate night nanny, I’ll be there to ensure you get the important sleep you need to recover.

Sleep deprivation can have such a huge effect on your ability to function fully, so whether it’s just a one off night or a few nights per week, I’m here to support you.

If you’re breastfeeding, I’ll bring baby to you, stay to support if needed, change and settle post feed.  If you’re bottle feeding I’ll manage everything so you can enjoy your uninterrupted sleep.
